Dear LSR7 Staff, Parents, and Guardians,

At the Lee’s Summit R-7 School District, we always strive to ensure the safety and security of our students, staff, and the broader community. As part of our ongoing commitment to safeguarding sensitive data, we are making an important change to how staff directory information is shared online.

Effective at the start of the 2025-26 school year, the staff directory pages will move from school websites to PowerSchool.

This change is designed to better safeguard personal and district information and help prevent bad actors from using staff names and photos in phishing attempts targeting families, students, and staff.

To access staff pages at the school(s) your student(s) attends, please follow the steps below:

1. Log in to your PowerSchool Parent Portal.

2. Look at the left hand menu and click on “School Directory”

3. Once you’ve selected the directory, you should see each school your child attends listed at the top of the page. Click a school name to see its directory.

We understand that changes like these may take some time to adjust to, but we appreciate your understanding and support prioritizing the security of our students’ and staff members’ personal data.
